On the 29^th of September 2014 the IEML warmly welcomed the delegation from Turkey. The Rector of the University HITIT (Corum, Turkey), Dr.Reha Metin Alkan was accompanied by the Head of the International Relations Office Dr. Gokce Merey and the Exchange Program Mevlana Coordinator Abdurahman Asan.

On the 29^th of September 2014 the IEML warmly welcomed the delegation from Turkey. The Rector of the University HITIT (Corum, Turkey), Dr.Reha Metin Alkan was accompanied by the Head of the International Relations Office Dr. Gokce Merey and the Exchange Program Mevlana Coordinator Abdurahman Asan.

The IEML side represented the Rector Asiya Vitaliyevna Timiriyasova, the Vice-rector for economic affairs and strategic development Liliya Vladimirovna Vorontsova, the Vice-rector for academic work Yuliya Leonidovna Kamasheva, the Vice-rector for continuing education, Director of the Institute of Distance Learning Daniya Zagriyevna Akhmetova, Chairman of the International cooperation Department of distance learning Alsou Gusmanovna Faizullina, interpreter of Turkish language, a teaching assistant of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Ruslan Vladimirovich Kurochkin, a specialist of the International Office Ekaterina Igorevna Vracheva. Within the meeting were shown presentations of both institutions, were discussing the parties interests and the result of the meeting has become the signing of the agreement on cooperation in the frameworks of the Mevlana Exchange Program (students, academic staff and researchers exchange).

HITIT University has 6 faculties (Science and Art, Economics and Administrative Science, Engineering, Medicine, Veterinary Science, Divinity), 3 institutes (Natural and Applied Science, Social Science, Health Science), 2 schools (Physical Training and Sport, Health), research and applied centers (Continuing Education, HITITE Civilization, Black Sea Archeology, Turkish Culture, Scientific and Technical Center). The University prepares specialists in 41 courses in classical disciplines and modern engineering, economics specialties. More than 13 000 students from 15 countries of the world study at 6 faculties of the University.

In the frameworks of Melvana Program students, lecturers and administrative staff of the IEML can study in Turkey, get scholarship of the Turkish government. At the end of the program students receive the certificate of the run 6-months course in Turkey. This is a great opportunity for English and Turkish languages improvement, meeting with new people, world, traditions. Whereas HITIT students can get the same education in the IEML as well.

For foreign partners was organized the excursion along Kazan. Guests liked sport facilities, Al Mardjani and Kul Sharif mosques, the Kremlin, the view at the Kazanka river very much.

The result of the meeting has become the signing of the Agreement on cooperation. HITIT representatives thanked the IEML administration for the opportunity to cooperate and invited to visit their university for strengthening the contacts and further relations development.
