The Memorandum of Understanding in the scientific, scientific and educational spheres and the Agreement on student exchange between KIU and the Technical University of Chemnitz were signed by the rector of KIU Asiya Vitalievna Timiryasova and the President of the TU of Chemnitz Gerd Stromeier. The signing took place in an online format.
On February 18, a unique and extremely significant project "Responsible Parents – Healthy children" was launched on the basis of the V. G. Timiryasov KIU. By developing the literacy of young people in matters of creating a family and forming a mindset for maintaining health, we will be able to prevent disability, reduce child mortality, and form a cult of a healthy family. That is why it is very valuable from a scientific and practical point of view, especially in the context of increasing disability.
In contrast to the European tradition, the Chinese celebrate the New Year later, associating it with the second new moon after the winter solstice. Therefore, another name for the holiday is Lunar New Year. The first day of 2021 in China was February 12. And already according to the established tradition, the Chinese New Year was cheerfully celebrated by the students of the "Linguistics" direction, inviting fellow students and honorary guests to the celebration.
To get into the National team means to represent the country at the highest level, to be one of the best. The representative of the national team from Tatarstan - the administrator of the Relita hotel Sogdiana Rustamova joined the team thanks to the powerful training at the WorldSkills Professional Competence Development Center of the KIU. It competes in the competence of "Hotel Administration".
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the honorary title "Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Republic of Tatarstan" was awarded to Professor Elena Matveeva, Dean of the Faculty of Service, Tourism and Food Servie Management of KIU.
The issues of the technological and practical component of the digitalization process, the features associated with the transformation of all management systems and the economy, were discussed at the Kazan Innovation University named after V. G. Timiryasov within the framework of the III International Scientific Conference "Vector of Development of Management Approaches in the Digital Economy". The event brought together experts and representatives of the academic community from different cities of Russia and abroad. The conference was held in a hybrid format: in person, as well as remotely using Zoom communication tools and live on the KIU Youtube channel.
