On May 2, KIU foreign students revealed the best cyber football player at the dormitory. KIU e-sports club and KIU international department with the support of ARTCORE as a part of the University Computer Sports Championship organized the FIFA 2020 tournament.
KIU students, from regions of Russia and foreign countries who could not return home, are now in self-isolation in the dormitory. Life, limited only by a space of the university, is unusual for them, but at the university, everything is done in order to make their stay in one territory as comfortable and safe as possible. They study remotely and miss their classmates and teachers very much. We asked them to share personal impressions about the situation.
KIU took the 1st place among non-governmental universities in Russia and entered the TOP of the leaders of digital transformation in Russian education according to the National rating of the URAIT educational platform.
The Minister Counsellor, Permanent Deputy Ambassador of Canada Stephane Jobin gave a lecture “Features of a social economic situation in Canada” at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov.
KIU student Sebastian Salcedo is originally from Colombia, but Tatarstan became his second home. In just a few months, he learned the Russian language on a good level, and began to study the Tatar language out of love for the culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. His talent was appreciated by the President Rustam Minnikhanov himself at a meeting with students at the new KIU building.
