On the 9th of September 2015, the visiting professor, Prof.Shabbar Jaffry (Portsmouth University ,UK), a member of the Editorial Board of IEML journal “Actual Problems of Economics and Law” presented an open lecture in IEML Conference Hall.

On the 9th of September 2015, the visiting professor, Prof.Shabbar Jaffry (Portsmouth University ,UK), a member of the Editorial Board of IEML journal “Actual Problems of Economics and Law” presented an open lecture in IEML Conference Hall.
The lecture “Usage of econometrics for solving social and economical tasks” was holding for students and academic staff of IEML. The lecture was also transmitted online at IEML branches.
On examples of different case-studies, Professor Jaffry explained tools of econometrics, which are using in social and economical spheres. At the end of the lecture, Professor Shabbar Jaffry answered all the questions of IEML professors. The interpreter of the Professor was his student, Deputy Director of IEML Scientific and Research Institute of Problems of Social and Economical Development, Ruslan Grigoryev.
At the meeting with the Rector A.Timiryasova, issues of further cooperation between University of Portsmouth and IEML in academic and scientific spheres were discussed. Shabbar Jaffry is official recognised as visiting Professor in Institute of Economics, Management and Law
