On 16th of December stages of the nominations “Sportsman of the year” and “Student sport cub” took place in educational and laboratory building of Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. These events happened within the framework of an annual student reward of the Republic of Tatarstan “Student of the year – 2015”.

On 16th of December stages of the nominations “Sportsman of the year” and “Student sport cub” took place in educational and laboratory building of Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. These events happened within the framework of an annual student reward of the Republic of Tatarstan “Student of the year – 2015”.

The reward was established by Regional youth non-government organization “Liga studentov Respubliki Tatarstan”, Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Council of rectors of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Doctor of pedagogical sciences, honored coach of Russia in athletics O. I. Pavlova, President of Children's water polo development fund, main coach of a water polo club “Sintez-Akademiya” I. Kh. Zinnurov, Chairman of a youth sports society “Burevestnik” RT E. R. Kharisov, vice-president for physical culture, sports and tourism in “Liga studentov Respubliki Tatarstan” A. I. Ibragimov sat in a jury of the honorary competition. 

After successful passing the correspondence stage of the competition, student of law faculty, World champion 2015 in koresh wrestling Marat Kupkenov (Kazan), student of IEML college (Chistopol), commander of the underwater youth squad of Russian Geographic society, co-author of a world record of immersion Valeriy Saleev and head of University tourism club of IEML undergraduate and graduate students (Nizhnekamsk) Vyacheslav Mizinov performed from the side of IEML.

Representatives of the Department of educational work and Students’ council came to support our students.
