Also vice rector for economy and strategic development of IEML L. V. Vorontsova, chief of the international office E. I. Vracheva, head of the Department of foreign languages R. Z. Valeeva and associate professor A. S. Gabdrakhmanova were presented.
Ferris State University was founded in 1884. It is located in a picturesque place of the State of Michigan, a small city of Big Rapids. It is possible to call is a students’ city as almost each resident is a student. Those who wish to study at this University can count on scholarship support from both states.
This summer institutes of higher education have already signed the contract on mutual cooperation and this time they could discuss options of its realization in more detail. Representatives of Ferris State University were: professor David Russell, expert in children's literature Lilia Kaserta, teacher of Department of English language and literature, doctor Tracey Bush, expert in history, doctor of mathematical sciences Victor Piercey.
At the meeting they discussed exchange of students - both according to programs of the higher education and on short-term training and creation of scientific and summer schools for the American and Russian students.
Next day guests from America held entertaining master classes where students proved their creativity.
