On 15th of January Mr. Timothy Mescon, Senior Vice President and Chief Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa at AACSB International, visited IEML.
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. Established in 1916, AACSB International provides its members with a variety of products and services to assist them with the continuous improvement of their business programs and schools.
At the moment the Association includes about 1500 higher education establishments from all over the world and about 750 business schools are accredited. Moreover, all the top world universities are accredited by AACSB International. For 100 years AACSB has been providing a platform for communication, partnership and support for universities.
The meeting was held in an economic faculty’s building where the largest part of IEML activities was presented to Mr. Mescon. He had an opportunity to acquaint with educational and living conditions of the students, history of IEML and its achievements in fields of education, science and sports. Economic faculty’s dean Renat Khikmatov conducted an excursion through the building. IEML was presented by: Rector Asiya Timiryasova, vice-rector for corporate management Timur Kramin, deputy director of the Socio-economic development problems research institute Ruslan Grigoryev and head of the international department Ekaterina Vracheva.
During the meeting they discussed issues of higher education quality and development, attracting of the foreign students, advantages and opportunities given by
