Students of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of KIU actively participated in scholarships given by China in 2015/2016. It isn’t easy. Firstly, you have to pass successfully a standard exam in Chinese language as Foreign (HSK). Then learn the whole information concerning scholarships, requirements to an applicant and the list of documents.
Realizing an importance of internships in China, students plan passing HSK since the 1st year of their education. At that moment, more than 80% of students of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies have HSK certificates of different levels which allow participating in different scholarships. It is important to note that there are scholarships of China government, China provinces and China universities.
In spring 2016 an active work on collecting necessary documents for scholarships started. The list of documents was enough big: academic transcripts, certificate of no criminal record, etc. The process of documents preparation is very difficult and requires attentive relation as any mistake can be reason for fail. One of Kazan Innovative University peculiarity is a team soul and big support from the Administration that is essential condition in results achievements.
After all documents are collected and are sent, there is a long period of waiting. It is the most difficult test for students.

In 2016/2017 six 3rd years students and two 4th years students of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies will take one year long language internships in Hunan University of Science and Engineering (China). The scholarship includes full covering the tuition fee, accommodation and a medical insurance.
Evgeniya Iliyna and Evgeniya Ivanova – graduates of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies go to Master’s program for 4 years to Liaoning University of Petroleum and Chemical Technology. The training program is “Organization Management”. The scholarship covers the tuition fee, accommodation, monthly allowance and a medical insurance.
Albina Faizova – a graduate of Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies goes for 3 years to Master’s program in Yangzhou University. The training program is “Methodic of teaching Chinese Language as Foreign”. The scholarship covers the tuition fee, accommodation, monthly allowance and a medical insurance.
