On November, 17th Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Kazan Innovative University co-hosted the international seminar on business development in China.
Entrepreneurs from different fields of business and students of Kazan universities gathered for this event. They had an opportunity to learn about economic model of a new world order where ASEAN countries play the leading roles, knew a lot about practical aspects of entrepreneurship on Asian markets, advantages of doing business in Hong Kong.
Such topics as Hong Kong legal system in the context of facilitation of business processes, opportunities of doing business in Hong Kong for Russian companies, ways of cooperation with Chinese companies, ways of assistance to foreign contracting parties in The Silk Road Economic Belt projects were discussed during the seminar. The audience obtained a lot of practical information for doing business and economic research. For example, the fact that 57% of all Chinese investment are made through Hong Kong impressed the participants a lot.
It will be remembered that Kazan Innovative University has been working closely together with Hong Kong Trade Development Council for the second year in a row. In April 2015 KIU organized an educational internship in Hong Kong for KIU employees and heads of innovative companies of the Republic of Tatarstan. With the assistance of HKTDC, they participated in workshops for doing business in China and Hong Kong, visited an international exhibition of information and communication technology and Hong Kong scientific and technological park, as well as the Faculty of business and economics of Hong Kong University which has signed the agreement with KIU for mutual training of MBA specialists.
At the end of the seminar all participants were awarded with international certificates.
