Yulia Sichevskaya, head of KIU student scientific society, told us about her invaluable experience of participation in the international entrepreneurship forum in Germany.
Youth Startups for a Greater Europe is an international youth forum which is intended to promote cooperation between all European countries, including Russia, in order to build a common future in the frameworks of Greater Europe. Participants of the forum are young and talented students.
Yulia Sichevskaya successfully went through all the stages of the competition and won a scholarship covering all expenses.
“I was so inspired by open-minded, friendly atmosphere of the forum, its participants – not only students like me, but also young businessmen. You could ask anyone about anything, everyone was eager to share the experience. We learned about entrepreneurship development all around the world, peculiarities of intercultural cooperation. I found out that there are really no obstacles – if you open yourself to the world, the world will open itself to you” – said Yulia.
“Everyone should have presented the project. In one minute we had to spark the interest of experts – potential investors. Well, that was quite stressful. We learned that an entrepreneur should be a showman at the same time, because even the best ideas worth nothing when they’re in your thoughts. You need to realize them – partially by engaging others, make them believe in you”.
