On the 28th of February KIU had the final of a competition “Mr.&Miss.KIU”. The best students were chosen from all branches of our University and invited to participate in the final in Kazan.
For the first time of the KIU history a student from non-CIS states, namely from Ghana, Kelvin Boahen took part in the contest. Although Kelvin came to Russia only in January 2018 and could hardly speak Russian, he wasn’t afraid of the language barrier and to participate in the contest. He won a title “Vice Mr. KIU”, made new friends and, moreover, he improved the Russian language. We congratulate him and other participants and wish them all the best in their beginnings.
