An international student of KIU Samir Mateo Meza Diaz took the first place on the All-Russian Olympiad on the Russian language among foreign students, who study on the linguistic specialization.

Foreign students fr om all Russian universities came to this event. Two students, Samir Mateo Meza Diaz and Joao Pedro Cordeiro Silva, from KIU took part in this contest. The Olympiad consisted of two parts. After successfully passing the first part of the contest Mateo Meza was sent to Moscow, wh ere he became the first one!
