Foreign students of the Preparatory Faculty of the Russian language as a foreign used an opportunity to immerse themselves in a fascinating journey through the history of Russia as part of a visit to the interactive exhibition "My Russia - My History" and felt ownership of historical events.
The historical park “My Russia is My History” is a unique platform where history literally comes to life. The park uses different forms of a presentation of a historical material. So, excursions, lectures, intellectual games, quests designed specifically for students of different ages and nationalities are held at the park’s expositions. The historical park consists of 4 chronologically arranged expositions that illuminate the history of our country fr om ancient times to today. The first pavilion presents the expositions “Rurikovich” and “Romanov,” and the second pavilion presents the expositions “1914-1945: Fr om the Great Shocks to the Great Victory” and “Russia - My History: 1945-2016”. The uniqueness of the park lies in the fact that all information is presented using multimedia equipments, wh ere the story comes to life. This project, presented for the first time in the interactive form, demonstrates the rich history, culture and traditions of Russia. Along with this, the history of the Republic of Tatarstan is also presented in the park: from the creation of the first Turkic state formations to the events of today.
This event was a continuation of the educational block “History of Russia” for KIU foreign students, wh ere a staff of the International Department of Kazan Innovative University conducts an introduction lecture on the history of Russia to create a common understanding of the culture and country in which foreign students study.
