Students of the University of Tea from different countries have the opportunity to join the traditions: recently they became participants of the national cultural festival of the University of Tea Traditions of Russia and Tatarstan.
The students were presented with a fascinating history of tea in Russia and Tatarstan, starting from its origins. In addition, they were able to enjoy the most popular delicacies of Tatar cuisine: bursak, talkysh-kaleve and many others. And we were delighted: no wonder Kazan is recognized as the culinary capital of the country.
Mancipe Devia Vanessa Alexandra (Colombia):
At the presentation, we learned a lot of interesting things about the tea culture in Russia and Tatarstan. It is very important for us that the university conducts such fascinating acquaintance with the cuisine of the country in which we study. In addition, I was very impressed by the samovar, it is an incredible device!
Soleto Urzagaste Angela (Bolivia):
In Bolivia, we drink coffee, as Russians drink tea. I had no idea that tea could be so delicious. In our country, there is a leafy tea mate, but Russian and Tatar are much more interesting and rich. Unlike tea in our country, here it even has an incredible aroma. Now I understand why Russians love tea.
