The results of the National Ranking of Universities on the best entrepreneurial programs in Russian universities have been summed up. The study was conducted by Interfax News Agency.
For the study, 85 leading Russian universities that implement educational programs on entrepreneurship were selected. Data on bachelor's and master's degree programs were collected, and university administrations, faculty, graduates, and students participated in the study.
The Master's program of KIU was included in the 16 best master's programs in Russia-along with the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, the Higher School of Economics, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Separately, a rating of universities was compiled for programs where final qualifying works are held in the form of startups. In this rating, KIU scored 845 points and took the third place after Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (1000 points) and Synergy University (944 points).
High positions in the rating are associated with the great attention that the university pays to teaching entrepreneurship. KIU has a Center for the Development of Entrepreneurial Competencies and a Business Incubator, where students can develop their business ideas and bring the project to life. Numerous victories of our students in the Russian and regional WorldSkills championships in the "Entrepreneurship" competence, as well as the victory of Karina Khaleeva in the European EuroSkills championship in the same competence, speak about the high quality of education and professionalism of teachers. For several years in a row, the university was a platform of "Worldskills 50+", where older people were trained in business planning and the basics of entrepreneurship.
