On May 26-28, 2022, the city of Bursa (Turkey) hosted the International Forum "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Museums of the Turkic World" within the framework of "Bursa 2022 - the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World", which was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey together with the International Organization of Turkic Culture - TURKSOY.
The forum was attended by representatives of 15 countries of Asia and Europe (including North Macedonia, Hungary) with more than 50 reports on the topics of the intangible cultural heritage of the Turkic and other peoples. Russia was represented by two regions - the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Tyva.
The Tatarstan delegation included teachers of KIU - Deputy Dean for Research of the Faculty of Management and Engineering Business, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Garipova Venera Valerievna and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Socio-Political Disciplines Mukhamadeeva Aigul Albertovna, who made presentations at the sections .
The forum is held annually in different countries of the world in order to ensure the mutual exchange of information, experience and development of cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world. The goal is to strengthen cultural ties between the Turkic peoples, as well as to evaluate the work on intangible cultural heritage carried out by the Turkic countries and regions.
