On July 5, in the Conference Hall of the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, the awarding of diplomas on graduation from the preparatory faculty to students from Latin America took place.

For many months, foreign students have been learning the basics of the Russian language for an important goal - further admission to higher education programs in Russia.

The award ceremony was opened by Ekaterina Nikitina, Head of the Department of International Relations at KIU.

The solemn ceremony began with the anthem of Kazan Innovative University.

Russian Language and Linguistics Department Head Alla Khoroshavina, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Lilia Vorontsova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics Olga Maksutova delivered a congratulatory speech. The Department of International Relations of KIU has prepared a colorful video clip with the best moments of the students' stay in Russia, which caused joy and smiles from all those present.

The students who most distinguished themselves in their academic activities received memorable gifts from the university.

Laura Sofia Barrera Casallas and Alfredo Jose Rodriguez Maldonado expressed their gratitude to all the teachers and staff of the university who helped them to pass this way.

At the end of the official part of the ceremony, the teachers gave kind parting words in the form of a performance of the Russian song "The Road of Good".
