On November 1, foreign students from Latin America together with teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics of KIU visited the Museum of Natural History of the Republic of Tatarstan.
An excursion was held for students from Colombia, revealing various aspects of geological knowledge. The guys learned a lot about space, about the structure of the Universe, various galaxies, systems and stars. They reinforced the received information with the help of various interactive objects. Students also learned about the structure of the Earth. The mineralogical diversity of the Earth's crust, as well as the minerals of Tatarstan were presented in the hall.
The paleontological halls dedicated to the development of vertebrates impressed the students the most with their exhibits. The students were interested to see with their own eyes the models of the first fish, the oldest amphibians, lizards, marine reptiles. But the most memorable objects, of course, were life-size models of dinosaur skeletons. The students listened attentively to the guide and looked at the skeletons with genuine interest.
The students were very impressed by the visit to the museum and promised to come here again.
