In the Secondary School No. 1 of the Vakhitovsky District of Kazan, on May 13, the Festival of Foreign Languages and Cultures "InYaz" was held. Our University became one of the partners of this event.

The organizers of the preparation of students for participation in the festival were the dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication Valeeva Roza, the head of the International Office Nikitina Ekaterina, the head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages Dulmukhametova Gulnara, the Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages Kokurina Anastasia, Assistant of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages Gayazova Alina.

Within the framework of this festival, our students held master classes in cutting Chinese characters from paper, a master class in Wushu under the guidance of KIU trainers - Gilfanov Marat, Kudashev Konstantin, Frolov Andrey and Gainullin Eduard, an open lesson on the study of the Turkish language was held a foreign student from Turkey of the Faculty of Linguistucs and Intercultural Communication - Sogyutlyudag Asli Shara, as well as foreign students from Colombia and Venezuela under the guidance of Ekaterina Nikitina presented a beautiful national Colombian dance, Salcedo Camacho Sebastian Andres made acquaintance with the guests of the event at a round table, talking about the traditions, customs, culture of their native country, as well as our first year students volunteered at the event.

At the festival, guests could get acquainted with Japanese, Chinese, Korean languages - the trend of recent years, as well as English, Spanish, French, German, Tatar languages. The program of the event included lectures on languages and their features, speed talk-dating in foreign languages, dance master classes, a language quest, and board games.

Interest in languages brought together people from different parts of the world and all ages in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
