Kazan hosts The International Forum of Ministers Education "Shaping the Future" in the IT-Park named after. Bashir Rameev. Rector of KIU Asiya Timiryasova took part in the plenary session of the event, where they discussed the role of education in the development of the economy, the availability of quality education, work with youth, children's recreation, teaching the Russian language in foreign countries.
The forum has become the largest thematic platform, which brought together more than 30 ministers from friendly countries. Among them are Egypt, Senegal, Mali, Zimbabwe, the Central African Republic, the Syrian Arab Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Venezuela, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and others.
Before the start of the meeting, the participants of the forum were welcomed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Aide to the President of Russia Andrey Fursenko, Head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov delivered keynote speeches.
During the forum, Asiya Timiryasova met with representatives of foreign departments and foreign colleagues, discussed with them areas of cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of education. Recall that at the moment students from 18 foreign countries study at KIU.
