On December 13, the Korston Club Hotel hosted a awards ceremony for the winners of the annual competition “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan.” The award ceremony was attended by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin and other guests of the event.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that over the 19 years of its history, the competition has become a landmark event in the life of the republic and an important factor in increasing the innovative potential of Tatarstan. Every year, interest in the competition grows and the geography of participants expands. The Rais of the Republic noted the great merit of the competition's mentors - heads of scientific areas.

The competition was held in nine categories: “Perspective”, “Innovation in Education”, “Start of Innovation”, “Nanoimpulse”, “Digital Economy”, “Patent of the Year”, “Youth Innovation Project”, “Projects of the National Technology Initiative” , “Socially Significant Innovations”, as well as special nominations from partners of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the “Digital Economy” nomination, the winner was Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Credit Gulnara Gafurova, who prepared the “Neofarm” project with a team of 3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics Dmitry Rysaev and Arsen Shaikhutdinov. Among the winners in the category “Personal Awards from PJSC Ak Bars Bank” is also the dean of the Faculty of Economics, Galina Notfullina, with the project “Financial Games”, carried out jointly with second-year students of the Faculty of Economics Nikita Maryevsky and Dilshat Khismatov. In the same nomination, the winner was a student of the Faculty of Management and Engineering Business, Sabirova Nailya, together with the scientific adviser Venera Garipova, who presented a project to improve the quality of life of the elderly population by maintaining the cultural and leisure sphere of citizens over 60 years of age.
