On February 26, KIU delegation, consisting of Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Liliya Vorontsova and Head of the Department of International Relations Ekaterina Nikitina, represented the University at the largest higher education summit in Istanbul.
EURIE annually brings together a huge number of representatives of educational organizations, international educational associations and ministers of higher education from around the world. As the world's third largest international education summit, the Eurasian Higher Education Summit serves as a global academic partnership and development platform for participating higher education institutions and other education industry stakeholders from around the world.
The summit included workshops, round tables, trainings, discussions and networking sessions on current issues in the field of internationalization of higher education. Particular attention was paid to the development and use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, academic mobility in full-time and virtual formats, and the development of relationships with universities in the countries of the Eurasian community.
Participation in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit- EURIE 2024 stimulates a new round of development of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, contributes to strengthening integration educational ties, academic mobility, new forms of project interaction between community members, and the sustainable development of higher education in the Eurasian space.
