The Grand Prix of the main republican student award "Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan 2024" was won by Svetlana Vyatkina, a student of the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of KIU.

On January 25, the final of the anniversary XX Republican award "Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan" took place in the "Pyramid". It was a celebration for the best University students who had achieved success in science, creativity, sports and other important fields.

Svetlana Vyatkina, a student of KIU and winner of the Grand Prix award, received 100,000 rubles from the award's partners to implement her ideas and free education grand. According to tradition, she was awarded the jacket of the winner of the Grand Prix "Student of the Year".

"I'm incredibly happy to be standing on stage today as a winner. It is a great honor for me to be awarded the title of "Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan". I am very glad that I am living and developing such a cool, innovative Republic - the Republic of Tatarstan. I would like to thank the entire teaching staff of Kazan Innovative University for their support, assistance, and motivation to participate in such competitions. You are the best, I incredibly love you all and hug you. Thank you very much," Svetlana shared her impressions of the victory.

KIU students became winners and laureates in other categories, which indicates the systematic training of talents at our University: "Headman of the Year", "Volunteer of the Year", "Media Personality of the Year", "Foreign student", "Student Scientific Organization of the Year", "Creative team of the Year".

For the first time, a student of KIU from Colombia, Hernandez Perez Zharik Yiset, participates in the final. She passed all the qualifying stages with dignity and was proud to represent the University in her nomination "Foreign Student".

The award has been held since 2005 and annually gathers the best students with an active civic position to support the development of student self-government, increase creative and social activity of students, form a positive social and professional image, strengthen interethnic and intercultural dialogue, strengthen diverse connections between educational institutions of higher education in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as to to increase the attention of the state and society to addressing issues related to the support of talented youth.

This year, 198 students took part in the competition all over the Republic of Tatarstan.

Svetlana Vyatkina's victory is a real triumph and recognition of her achievements at the highest level. We wish Svetlana new achievements, because in the Republic of Tatarstan there is everything for the realization of talent and initiatives.
