Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov participated in one of the brightest and largest events in the world of education — an international exhibition that brought together over 50,000 applicants from India.
Every year, more than 1.5 million school graduates in India go abroad to study at foreign universities. And Russia is confidently gaining increasing favor among Indian youth! On November 8-9, the GC Merrakki Global Education Expo – 2025 in New Delhi united representatives of the educational sphere from more than 20 countries. Kazan Innovative University, represented by the Head of the International Relations Department, Ekaterina Nikitina, and specialist Maria Abilova, was the only Russian university at the event and became a powerful center of attraction for all applicants interested in studying in Russia.
Kazan Innovative University is actively establishing contacts with foreign partners, and this large-scale exhibition opened new horizons: preliminary agreements were reached on practical steps towards achieving a strategic partnership.
The exhibition caused a real media frenzy! It was covered by famous media personalities and major Indian TV channels, with a total audience reach exceeding 5 million views.
Schoolchildren and their parents, with eyes full of enthusiasm, got acquainted with the educational programs of Kazan Innovative University, available in both Russian and English.
"We see a deep interest from applicants in India in obtaining higher education in Russia and at our university. The recent exhibition was another step towards expanding the export potential of Russian education and the educational programs of our university. It was nice to see entire schools that came to get acquainted with universities and decide on a future profession," shared Ekaterina Nikitina.
