Within the walls of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, an award ceremony was held to mark the completion of the language internship for students from Liaoning Petrochemical Technology University (PRC).
The joint educational program with the partner university from the People's Republic of China has consistently shown high results for many years. Immersing themselves in the atmosphere of learning Russian, the culture, history, and traditions of our people, Chinese students successfully improve their Russian language proficiency, gain extensive new knowledge, and broaden their horizons.
Thanks to the vibrant student life that prevails at KIU, the foreign students received awards for their participation in the Russian Olympiad in Russian as a Foreign Language and the regional festival "Student Spring." During their time at KIU, the students actively took part in national cultural events dedicated to Unity Day, scientific conferences, and presented their culture and customs to schoolchildren — future applicants of KIU — at general education schools in Kazan and at KIU branches in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ekaterina Nikitina, Head of the International Relations Department, addressed the students with a warm welcome speech. She congratulated them on their success, thanked them for their diligence, and emphasized the importance of such programs. Olga Maksutova, a lecturer at the Department of Russian Language, proudly noted the achievements of each student and concluded her speech with a parting wish:
— "May the knowledge you have gained become a solid foundation for your future studies and career."
The completion of the 2025/2026 academic year program with Liaoning Petrochemical Technology University is a major milestone in the development of partnership relations between the two universities. KIU confirms its status as a center of attraction for international students and declares that the language training program will only expand.

The university intends to further increase the geography of its international educational cooperation, opening its doors to students from all over the world.
