The conference is held as part of the Kazan Digital Week 2026 international forum, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On October 31, 2026, the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Technologies and Law" will commence at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. The event will be held in a hybrid format—both in-person and online—bringing together members of the academic community, government authorities, legal practitioners, digital technology specialists, and business representatives.
The conference is organized by the V.G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University, the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Department of Social and Economic Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The objective of the conference is to develop approaches for addressing pressing issues related to the legal regulation and protection of social relations in the context of digital technology advancement. Particular focus will be placed on establishing a scholarly forum for discussing the refinement of existing mechanisms—and the creation of new ones—to ensure an appropriate legal framework for the rapidly evolving digital environment.
The conference program includes plenary and sectional sessions. Leading legal scholars, experts, representatives from legislative and law-enforcement bodies, and professionals from the real economy will present their research and insights. A dedicated session will also be organized for young researchers, as well as undergraduate and graduate students.
The conference will serve as a vital platform for open professional dialogue, the exchange of academic ideas, and the discussion of current issues concerning the legal support of digital transformation.
