KIU discussed prospects for the development of medical tourism
Professor Fatih Agalar from Turkey, a talented surgeon in the field of cancer treatment and a specialist who knows the technologies of working with the medical robot "da Vinci", made a report on medical tourism at the Kazan Innovative University. The meeting was attended by the rector of KIU Asia Timiryasova, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Yulia Kamasheva, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Lilia Vorontsova, Vice-Rector for Corporate Governance Timur Kramin, as well as the head of the International Department Ekaterina Vracheva, Deputy.Dean for Scientific Work of the Faculty of Service, Tourism and Food Service Management Aidar Mullayanov.

В Казанском инновационном университете с докладом о медицинском туризме выступил профессор из Турции Фатих Агалар, талантливый хирург в области лечения онкологических заболеваний и специалист, владеющий технологиями работы с медицинским роботом «da Vinci». Во встрече приняли участие ректор КИУ Асия Тимирясова, проректор по учебной работе Юлия Камашева, проректор по экономике и стратегическому развитию Лилия Воронцова, проректор по корпоративному управлению Тимур Крамин, а также начальник международного отдела Екатерина Врачева, зам.декана по научной работе факультета СТиТПОП Айдар Муллаянов.

KIU is in the top 20% of the best universities in the world according to Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics)
In the new (July 2021) edition of the international ranking Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov immediately rose by 1000 positions, which made it possible to enter the top 20% of the best universities in the world. In addition, according to a separate indicator characterizing the number of citations of scientific works of teachers, KIU generally entered the world group of TOP Universities, headed by Harvard and Stanford Universities. Of the Russian universities, 93 educational institutions were included in the Top Universities-KIU is on the 50th place among them.
