KIU scientists are contending for the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in Science and Technology
The project by researchers from the V. G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University, titled "Development of Ethical and Legal Frameworks for Regulating the Creation and Application of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Bioprinting Technologies in Healthcare," has been accepted for the 2026 State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in Science and Technology competition. The list of entries accepted for the competition was announced by the Commission on State Prizes in Science and Technology under the Head (Rais) of the Republic of Tatarstan.
KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov and leading universities of Shandong Province have signed cooperation agreements
During its working visit to China, the delegation of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov held meetings with representatives of Shandong Management University and Shandong University of Political Science and Law, at which joint educational and research projects, academic exchanges, professional training, and new formats of interaction between the university and business were discussed.

Ildar Begishev, Chief Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Digital Technologies and Law, Professor at the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Russian Federation, and Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Denis Kiiko, a postgraduate student at the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, have published a research article entitled “Harmonization of Robotics Legislation as a Factor in Technological Cooperation between BRICS Countries” in the prestigious international academic journal BRICS Law Journal.

Students from Latin America at Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov visited Bolgar, one of the most significant historical and cultural sites in the Republic of Tatarstan. Organized by the University, the trip gave students an opportunity to learn more about the region’s history, cultural heritage, and the traditions of its multinational society.
