“Freshman’s Day” and “Success of the Year”: if life is a game, then KIU students are the winners in it
“Freshman's Day” and “Success of the Year” are unique events in the life of every student at our university. Now imagine that they take place in one day - this is a truly unforgettable experience. This is what happened on November 9 at the Lenin Culture House at the concert “Life is a game, and you are in it...” The holiday, presented to students by the Department for Youth Affairs, united everything we love - the energy and drive of youth, high-quality production, talented acting ( most of whom are first-year students), creative performances by KIU teams, as well as an intriguing ceremony for awarding the best students with the “Success of the Year” and “Best Academic Group” awards.
The II Phonetic Tournament for foreign students was held at Kazan Innovative University
Every year, students from different countries of the world come to KIU to study Russian. By tradition, teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics and employees of the Department of International Relations of KIU annually organize a phonetic tournament, where students can demonstrate their knowledge and skills that they acquire in the process of studying the phonetics of the Russian language. And this year was no exception - on November 22, another phonetics tournament was held for foreign students of KIU.

The XIII All-Russian Conference with international participation “Dialectics of Anti-Corruption” once again brought together leading Russian and foreign researchers, government officials, law enforcement officials and public organizations at KIU. Active participants in the conference are young researchers and students.
KIU was awarded for contribution to the development of ethics in the field of artificial intelligence
On November 16, 2023, the TASS Russian News Agency hosted the “AI Ethics Forum: Generation GPT. Redlines". As part of the Forum, an award ceremony in the field of ethics of artificial intelligence was held. For the development of a draft Code of ethics for entities engaged in the creation, use and disposal of medical products based on artificial intelligence technologies (hereinafter referred to as the Code of Ethics), the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov was awarded.
The mascot of the “Games of the Future” in Kazan will be the Firebird of the World, developed by KIU students
The Firebird of the World was chosen as the mascot for the international multi-sport tournament “Games of the Future”, which was developed by students of the Faculty of Hospitality and Design of the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov - Maria Romashka, Alina Khasyanova and Daria Sidakova. At the International Exhibition-Forum «Russia" in Moscow, at the ceremony celebrating 100 days before the start of the competition, they told how the idea of creating a mascot was born.
