The first professional exhibition of restaurant and hotel management HORECA_KAZAN 2016 took place in Kazan on October, 29th. More than 2000 people visited it.
The event took place in "Kazan Fair" exhibition center and became the first of its kind in the Republic of Tatarstan. The first professional exhibition of restaurant and hotel management introduced the best manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, textile, dishware, appliances, expendable materials, foods and drinks – everything that is needed for efficient activity of restaurants and hotels.
Highly topical program of 3 days of the exhibition included:
- educational lectures “Hotels”, “Restaurants” and “Chefs”;
- “Black box” battle where chefs of Tatarstan restaurants demonstrated their skills in culinary improvisation, and waitstaff showed their service skills;
- preliminaries of All-Russian professional chefs competition “Сhef а la Russe - 2017”.
Besides the program included trainings, seminars, workshops, professional competitions and round tables. Business management representatives had an opportunity to participate in meetings in face2face format.
Students of KIU Faculty of Service, Tourism and Food Service Management were among the participants of HORECA_KAZAN 2016. The students contributed by volunteering in the exhibition and gained useful professional experience.
