A special milestone this year was the first graduating class of the English-language preparatory faculty.

Over the past year, international students of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov embarked on an exciting journey of preparation for higher education in Russia, gaining the opportunity to pursue programs in three languages: Russian, English, and Spanish.

At Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, international students live in a rhythm of constant growth: winning academic competitions, showcasing talents at cultural festivals, and setting records in regional and national sports events. Their schedules are always packed—lectures give way to rehearsals, seminars alternate with preparations for new projects.

Additionally, students of the preparatory faculty participate in theatrical performances, sing in vocal and dance studios, appear on student television, compete in sports tournaments, conduct research in university laboratories, and, "for dessert," take part in masterclasses on preparing national cuisine dishes. Each day brings new emotions, connections, and achievements, turning their studies into an unforgettable experience!

While studying at the preparatory faculty, students immerse themselves deeply in the cultural traditions of Russia and Tatarstan. They actively participate in national culture festivals, holidays, exhibitions, and concerts dedicated to the friendship of nations.

In her welcoming speech to the graduates, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development Liliya Vorontsova emphasized that KIU trains specialists of the future—professionals capable of working effectively in international environments and excelling in their careers. The students’ outstanding results are a testament to the dedication of their instructors, who continuously refine educational programs, introduce new methodologies, and invest heart and soul into each student.

In recognition of teaching excellence, the ceremony honored the best faculty members from the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics and the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation.

Head of the International Relations Department Ekaterina Nikitina noted that during their studies, Latin American students became part of the extended family of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, absorbed Russian and Tatar cultures, made friends from around the world, and proved that there are no boundaries for those who seek knowledge.

Chair of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics Alla Khoroshavina highlighted that hard work is the key to success in life. She encouraged students to take pride in their achievements, strive for new heights, and remain curious—because it is the thirst for knowledge that drives progress.

Among the honored guests was Fernando Muñoz, Director of Russian University. He praised the high level of language training among Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov students and the quality of the university’s educational programs: "We have gathered to celebrate an important milestone—the graduation of the preparatory faculty at one of the finest universities in the Russian Federation".
