Students of KIU Faculty of Service, Tourism and Food Service Management won several prizes and diplomas at the 7th All-Russian youth culinary and service championship “Student banquet”. This is the biggest competition in Russia among students of culinary and service fields of study.
The championship is aimed to support and develop professionalism of young specialists of restaurant business. The level of the competition grows every year, and this time 57 educational institutions became our competitors. During 3 days the participants presented their works in art-classes and took part in practical contests. Strict and professional jury appraised culinary art of the participants.
KIU students took 4 bronze medals, 2 silver medals and several diplomas in different nominations. On their return they met with KIU rector Asiya Timiryasova who congratulated them with such a brilliant performance.
