Vietnam is the only country in the Southeast Asia which writing was developed on the base of the latin alphabet. However it is not the main reason explaining perspective of mutual benefit cooperation with Tatarstan.

In general, Russian people don’t know a lot about Vietnam, its history, culture. More less they know about opportunities of business cooperation. For instance, it is used to think that etalon sorts of oil are Brent, WTI and Dubai Crude. However in the frameworks of such important characteristics of oil as sulfur content and oil density the leaders are Russian sort “Pobeda” and Vietnamese “BạchHổ (White Tiger)”.

Modern Vietnam stakes not at oil or another natural resources but at human capital assets.

In 1986 Vietnam initiated an economic reform ĐổiMới (in Vietnamese - "innovations") with a purpose of creation “socially oriented market system. Vietnamese government consistently implements a passage from primary economics to industrial economics with a perspective of “economic of knowledge” formation.

Experts in the area of economics development of Southeast Asia countries, in particular Mr. Vladimir Mazyrin, fairly points out achievements of Vietnam in the field of information technologies. Tatarstan as the leader in TV communication field development among Russian regions has a huge experience on internet service promotion and organization of daily interaction with population, business, government and public organizations.

Important peculiarity of Vietnam is its belt of sea adjacent to the coast. From one side Vietnam territory is enough long zigzag way thin sea line that lines from the North to the South that provides perspectives of tourism development due to construction and reconstruction of resort zones. However from another side, big length of the coast line of any country requires constant updating of civil fleet and navy. In this context Vietnam isn’t an exclusion. For instance, Vietnamese people traditionally implement fishing. However in modern conditions fishing field required a fishing fleet.

For purpose of national interests protection Vietnam implements modernization of national navy forces. Tatarstan plays an important role in this. Economic cooperation of Tatarstan and Vietnam in some fields is already established. Nut it is important to force it and expand number of fields according to perspectives of Vietnam and it’s the closest neighbors in Southeast Asia development.
