The Officer’s Ball took place in Kazan on 17th of March for the first time in 20 years. It was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of creation of state security bodies in Russia.

2 KIU students took part in such memorable event: postgraduate student Ildar Begishev and master’s student Ravil Fetkulin. The purpose of such event is to preserve and enrich the culture of Russian officers. They learned how to carry themselves with dignity and to stand on ceremony on the balls. Students of Kazan dance school helped the Ball’s participants in learning mazurka, polonaise and menuet.
