The summer school on Economics and Peculiarities of Business Leading in Russia successfully completed at KIU.
This program was specially implemented for students of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu (China).
During 10 days 13 students and 2 teachers took part in the intensive educational program, which consisted of lectures on economics, finances, management, acquaintance with industrial and innovative potential of the Republic of Tatarstan and with monuments of history and culture of the worldwide significance of UNESCO (Island-town Svijazsk and ancient city Bolgar). In the framework of the educational program, students and teachers from People’s Republic of Chine visited such big industrial enterprises in Kazan as LLC “Ledel”, JSC “Technopolis Himgrad”, “AB InBev Efes” and Technopark in the field of high technologies “IT-park”.
During the acquaintance with the production, the participants gained a rich experience in the field of the industrial enterprises interaction between members of the leading business-communities, witnessed production processes of high-qualified goods and innovative projects, produced in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The guests from China visited the Championship of the Working Professions “WorldSkillks 2019” wh ere they were able to observe the ongoing competitions and talked with a representative of WorldSkills 2021 of the Municipality in Shanghai Mr. Luo Shengkiang. He shared his experience, which he had got observing the organization of the large-scaled world Championship in Kazan.
Head of the Department for International Relations Ekaterina Vracheva, who oversaw this project, told about campus: “We tried to make up the summer school program for foreign students so that they had not only lectures but also got to deepen in the cultural traditions and history of our Republic. We organized master-classes on a cooking of the Tatar national dishes, attended museums, went out into nature. During their stay in Kazan students and teachers wanted to taste only Russian and Tatar national cuisines”.
“In Russia we will eat only the Russian food!” – said a student Lee Yangihong at once as they had arrived at Kazan International Airport.
At the end of the curriculum, all students of the summer school received certificates and souvenirs from Kazan Innovative University.
During the award ceremony, Vice-Rector for economics and strategic development, Liliya Vorontsova marked a deep interest, discipline of students and expressed hope for further cooperation between universities.
“It was interesting to see how students were full of energy to learn all new things around them”, - ended Liliya Vorontsova her welcoming speech.
Students and teachers expressed their kind and gratitude words towards the University especially for the warm welcoming, interesting program due to they learned a lot for a short period. The students expressed their deep desire to come once again next summer.
