During the conference, the issue related to the regulatory and legal support for the development of the digital economy was discussed. Yulia Malysheva, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the Kazan Institute of the All-Russian State University of Justice, notes that " the current legislation does not fully meet modern realities and cannot always provide adequate criminal protection for new public relations in the context of the development of the digital economy."
Oleg Agapov, Advisor to the Rector for Strategic Initiatives of KIU, delivered a report "High-Hume: high humanitarian technologists in the context of society 4.0/digital transformation".
Professor of the Department of Management of KIU Elmira Shaimieva in her speech spoke about the development of a computer program in the field of E-HEALTH as an object of international scientific cooperation between KIU and German universities, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The project can be used as a universal classifier in the field of e-health, an auxiliary program for reading e-medical records, for analyzing the customer base.
Professor Franco Grossi (Italy) voiced the idea of creating a virtual museum in Kazan, which will combine the concept of an ordinary museum and a place where digital copies of the most famous works of art will be collected.
Venera Garipova, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Management and Engineering Business of KIU, spoke about the specifics of the impact of innovations on the process of forming the digital economy.
The conference also discussed the impact of digital technologies on economic development. The report "Digital technologies as a source of economic growth" was delivered by Victoria Shiplyuk, research engineer at the Vologda Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. About the problems of digital transformation in Russia, said the Professor of the St. Petersburg branch of the financial University, ITMO University Andrew Senile.
Kirill Globov, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Service, Tourism and Food Technology at KIU, presented a project to develop a technology platform based on end-to-end digital technologies that would monitor the state of development of international tourism in Spain.
