The best students of KIU were awarded today with the scholarship of the founder and first rector Vitaly Timiryasov. It was he who initiated the creation of this award, which is awarded to the best students in academic activities and activists of student life.
The most active, purposeful, bright and successful students of the university gathered in a solemn atmosphere. They proved themselves in studies, science, social activities, creativity and sports.
The support of talented youth has become a good tradition and the basis for the success of our university. It is very honorable and valuable to be the holder of the Dr. Vitaly Timiryasov Scholarship.
The best students were greeted by the rector of the university Asia Timiryasova. Addressing the fellows, Asiya Vitalievna noted that it is important for the university to keep the high bar set by the first rector V.G.Timiryasov, and moreover, to try to raise it. "Because time does not stand still and poses new challenges to us," said the rector. - All this is possible thanks to the students. Dr. Timiryasov liked to repeat that students make the name of the university. And you are the golden fund of our university. Because today you are students, and tomorrow you will come out of the university and glorify our university, the republic, and Russia.
People often ask what is the secret of Dr. Timiryasov? How did he achieve such heights? After all, today our university is recognized as the best private university in Russia.
Dr. Timiryasov knew how to work with people. Guys, remember for the rest of your life that one in the field is not a warrior. This is what Dr. Timiryasov always said. Only the ability to work in a team can lead to success.
The next point is his high professionalism. Vitaly Timiryasov devoted his whole life to work in the education system. He himself went through all the stages from assistant, teacher, associate professor, head of the department to the rector of the university. Be professional, otherwise it is impossible to achieve success.
And the third thing that set him apart was that he loved people very much. And this included everything: he could support, he could scold, but even those whom he scolded, then thanked him, said "thank you for telling us so, we revised our behavior."
The guys sitting in this hall, you are our best students. And I want to end the greeting with the words of Vitaly Gainulovich: "Keep it up!"
We join the words of the rector and congratulate the fellows on the well-deserved assessment of their achievements.
