The XIV International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum" was held on May 18 and 19 at the IEC "Kazan Expo", where students of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, as well as a student and head of the volunteer organization of the Faculty of Economics of KIU, Alina Bayzuldinova, took part as volunteers.

XIV International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" is the main platform for building economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. For future professionals in the field of economics, working at such a forum is a great opportunity to see the interaction of prominent world figures and learn the latest news and events. Alina Baizuldinova was a volunteer, whose activities included meeting and navigating the guests of the forum.

The forum has also become an excellent opportunity for future linguists to practice their skills. 54 students of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication were sent to work as volunteers for various positions, where the main requirement was a high level of English proficiency.

“I worked in the position of "Meeting Rooms". Together with other volunteers of this direction, I was responsible for the rooms assigned to us, for the order in them, the presence of water, glasses, pens, etc. We also escorted guests to their meeting rooms. I also saw other KIU students there, they stood at the positions of "Halal Expo Volunteer", "Souvenirs", "Navigation", "Protocol", etc. Everyone's tasks are different, but there is one thing in common: to help guests find the right place on the vast territory of Kazan Expo, ”says Ilyana Ibragimova, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, about her work.

Recall that the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Project Activities, Doctor of Economics, Professor Antonova Irina acted as a speaker at the XIV International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World:", where she presented the achievements of the scientific school of Kazan Innovative University in the field of Quality Management and Circular Economy in the working section "Closed-loop economy. Waste turns into income!"
