On December 5, the Cultural Center "Chulpan" hosted a gala concert of the republican festival “Foreign Student's Day”, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan, at which the KIU dance groups “Merengue” and “Folk dance” won the title of 1st degree diploma winners.

The festival "Foreign Student's Day" is held annually and brings together hundreds of active, creative and bright students from all over the globe who come to study in Kazan. Students of our university are also active participants in this festival and are happy to introduce jury members and spectators to their culture.

KIU students successfully passed the qualifying stage in the “Choreography” category, reached the finals and performed well at the gala concert of the festival. The participants amazed everyone present with their fiery and memorable national dance, personifying the entire unique culture of Latin America.

The achieved success at the republican level proves that ambitious and creative students study at KIU.
