On December 14, the long-awaited final of the beauty and talent contest “Mister and Miss KIU - 2023” took place within the walls of the Tatar State Puppet Theater “Ekiyat”. The theater stage, filled with magic, received the radiance of 22 competition participants - 11 talented boys and 11 charming girls. More than 150 applications were processed, highlighting the wealth of talent at the University.

The composition of the jury impressed with its diversity and professionalism. It included: Asiya Timiryasova - Rector of the Kazan Innovative University, Liliya Vorontsova - Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development of the University, Shamil Yakupov - President of the League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Gubanov - Director of theatrical performances and celebrations, Alina Gizzatullina - Chairman of the Student Council of KIU, Svetlana Zagitova - Head of the office for work with student associations of the Department of Youth Affairs , Isolda Sakharova - President of the public organization "Miss Tatarstan", Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The jury highly appreciated the participants, emphasizing not only their external beauty, but also their talents, intelligence and elegance. The rector of KIU noted that the students gave the audience a real holiday, and wished everyone victory in their future endeavors.

The event included several competitive tests. “Introduction” allowed the participants to talk about themselves, and creative performances revealed the unique talents of everyone. The fashion show "Mister and Miss KIU - 2023" amazed the audience with its elegance and style.

A highlight was the “Intellectual” competition, where the contestants showed their level of education and ability to reason on various topics.

Finally, the title holders of “Mister and Miss KIU – 2023” were Mikhail Romanov, a student of the Faculty of Hospitality and Design, and Daria Kargina, also a student of the Faculty of Hospitality and Design, representing the city of Kazan.
