Now, the first international multi-sport tournament “Games of the Future” in phygital sports in world history has been going on in Kazan for a week now. Phygital sport is an innovative sport, founded in our country just a year ago, combining competitive activity in the digital and real world.
As you know, any outstanding international sports tournament, and the “Games of the Future” are one of them, cannot do without athletes, coaches, sports judges and, of course, the competition mascot. The most innovative mascot of the most innovative sports competitions in the history of mankind was the firebird MIRA - a symbol of harmony between the virtual and real world, between the experience of the past and the possibilities of the future.
Design students of Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov took direct part in the appearance of this mascot and in the development of its name. Their great contribution to the organization and holding of the international multi-sport tournament “Games of the Future” was recognized with departmental awards. The awarding of each student took place last day on the stage for official ceremonies at the International Exhibition Center “Kazan-Expo” - in the very heart of the educational and business program “City of the Future”, organized as part of the “Games of the Future.
