Interfax Information Services Group presented the National Rating of the best Russian universities implementing general education programs in the field of Psychology. The study was conducted among 150 universities, 50 universities were included in the experimental rating.
KIU entered the TOP-30 ranking among all universities in the country, and took third place according to the criterion "Assessment of educational programs by graduates". Graduates assessed the organization of practice at the university, the connection of their work with the acquired specialty, the terms of employment after graduation, and also recommended KIU for admission to future psychologists.
When compiling the rating, the university's reputation in the field of psychology and related sciences, the educational process, indicators in the media and social media, publication activity in scientific journals, student achievements, student and graduate reviews, as well as recommendations for admission to the university in the field of "Psychology" were taken into account.
At a meeting of representatives of universities and communities of psychologists, the head of the National University Rating project of the Interfax Group Alexey Chaplygin noted the growing interest in the topic of psychological education, psychological research and development. Alexey Chaplygin also emphasized that the leaders of the rating are large classical universities, but the list also included several non-state universities, including Kazan Innovative University.
