A ceremonial presentation of the named scholarships of the President and the Government of Russia took place in Kazan. KIU Rector Asiya Timiryasova participated in the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan, Viktor Demidov, noted that receiving such a scholarship is "a great life success and an honor." Deputy Head of the Scholarship Support Division at the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Anton Khandzhyan, emphasized that the scholarship amount has been increased, allowing students to focus entirely on their studies and research.

Three KIU students became winners of the Russian Government Scholarship in the prestigious "Social Sciences" category:

• Ilvina Kayumova (4th year, Faculty of Management and Engineering Business, Naberezhnye Chelny Branch)

• Polina Lazareva (1st year Master's program, Faculty of Applied Economics and Financial Technologies)

• Anastasia Pavlova (4th year, Faculty of Law)

This is a special achievement: only 7 students in Tatarstan received this scholarship in this field, and three of them are from KIU! This makes our university the republic's leader in this ranking.
