A delegation from the V.G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University, led by Rector Asiya Timiryasova, visited the heart of Northeast China and agreed to initiate cooperation with the Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics (Harbin). The negotiations, which included a ceremonial signing of the agreement, mark a significant step in developing international ties. During the KIU delegation's visit to China, the leadership of Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics introduced them to the activities and achievements of its faculties, allowing them to find many common ground points.

Harbin is an important hub for Russian-Chinese educational and scientific partnership, especially in areas of strategic importance for both countries.

The planned cooperation represents a new stage in the relationship between KIU and Chinese universities, expanding the scope of collaborative efforts.

Today, over 1,500 students study Chinese as a foreign language at V.G. Timiryasov KIU, and each of them will now gain even more opportunities for practice, exchange, and career growth thanks to such agreements. We are strengthening bridges, opening doors, and creating a unique educational ecosystem for our students together with leading Chinese universities!

The international partnership with Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics aligns with the strategic goals of V.G.
