KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov hosted the International Festival “Dialogue of Cultures of KIU,” bringing together students from different countries.
The festival participants and guests were welcomed by Liliya Vorontsova, the Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development of KIU. In her address, she emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting intercultural dialogue within the university community and expressed her gratitude to the students for their active participation in the cultural life of the university and their contribution to fostering an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect.
The festival participants demonstrated not only their creative talents but also a deep interest in Russian culture and language. One of the highlights of the program was a series of theatrical performances based on Russian folk tales, in which the participants enthusiastically brought well-known fairy-tale characters to life.
On this day, the Concert Hall of KIU was transformed into a space for vibrant cultural dialogue, bringing together different peoples, traditions, and creative forms of expression. Students showed a genuine interest in the cultures of other countries, as well as a willingness to engage in open communication and exchange experiences.
At the conclusion of the festival, all participants received commemorative gifts from the university as a sign of appreciation for their creativity, active involvement, and commitment to promoting intercultural communication. This symbolic gesture was yet another reflection of the attention KIU devotes to supporting student initiatives and creating a welcoming international educational environment.
“Dialogue of Cultures of KIU” once again confirmed its status as one of the most vibrant international events in university life. The festival gave participants and guests many positive emotions and once again reminded everyone that cultural diversity is one of the most important values of the modern world.
