The first Russian studio of National cooking has opened in KIU
In the Year of Native Languages and National Unity, a unique Yunus Akhmetzyanov National Cooking Studio was opened at the Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov, which combined love for the traditions of folk cuisine and advanced technologies. The laboratory, developed by scientists, manufacturers of innovative equipment and students, is designed to preserve the heritage of Tatar cooking and give it a modern sound.

Enactus is the world's largest entrepreneurial movement of students with the support of business leaders. Students of the Faculty of Management and Engineering Business and the Faculty of Economics of KIU submitted 2 projects to the competition.
KIU held a methodological seminar for Chinese language teachers in Kazan
Chinese is no longer considered an exotic rarity in the Russian education system: it is increasingly being studied in schools as a second foreign language, and graduates can choose the Unified State Exam in Chinese. Every year, dozens of applicants enter the specialty "Theory and Methods of teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures" at KIU, where they prepare to become teachers of English and Chinese. Therefore, the issue of teaching methods of Chinese is quite acute, which, unlike European "brothers", requires a special approach.
