Journal of Digital Technologies and Law (https://www.lawjournal.digital) has secured first place among Russian legal publications in both the two-year and five-year RSCI impact factors, outpacing such esteemed publications as “Journal of Russian Law”, “Zakon”, “Bulletin of Economic Justice of the Russian Federation”, “State and Law”, “Perm University Herald. Legal Sciences”, “Pravo. Journal of the Higher School of Economics”, and others.
KIU Professor Ildar Begishev and Associate Professor Albina Shutova Present the Ethical and Legal Framework for Regulating Digital Technologies in Healthcare
The scholarly work by researchers at KIU named after V.G. Timiryasov, titled “Developing the Ethical and Legal Framework for Regulating the Creation and Use of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Bioprinting Technologies in Healthcare,” has been submitted for the 2026 State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in Science and Technology. A public discussion of this research took place during an extended meeting of the Academic Council of the Kazan Branch of the All-Russian State University of Justice (RLA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia)..
KIU is an active participant in BRICS humanitarian initiatives
As part of the implementation of the large-scale social and humanitarian project "BRICS: values that unite us", which has been developed since 2023 by Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov, the university delegation participated in the IV International Laboratory of Youth Projects of the BRICS countries on April 7-8, 2025 at MGIMO.
From Kazan to Beijing: KIU and Chinese publishing house Sinolingua develop partnership in Chinese language teaching
