A significant event was holding for foreign students of the preparatory faculty - receiving a document on completion of training under the program "Russian as a Foreign Language".
Throughout the educational program, students from Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru and other countries studied Russian language and general subjects, got acquainted with the history and culture of Russia, traditions and customs of our country, took an active part in festivals, competitions, various cultural and social events high school.
The award ceremony began with a welcoming speech by the Vice Rector of Economics and Strategic Development of KIU Lilia Vorontsova. She thanked each student and wished them success in life. “We are very pleased that the guys come to us to study Russian. It was a difficult time for you because of the special period in the world . We are grateful to you that you have steadfastly withstood all restrictions, studied diligently, and behaved with dignity, ” said Lilia Vladimirovna . The Vice-Rector also thanked the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics of Kazan Innovation University.
Kazan Innovation University give serious considerations to the language training of foreign students . This is evidenced by the annual increase in the number of foreign students and the fact that they choose our university to continue receiving Russian education. Some 2020 graduates plan to continue their studies at the Kazan Innovation University in such areas of undergraduate studies as Economics, Management, Linguistics and Design. A certificate of completion of the preparatory faculty confirms the level of Russian language knowledge as a foreign language and gives students the opportunity to enter any university in Russia.
The ceremony was continued by the faculty of the Department of Russian Language and Linguistics, who worked intensively with foreign students. Alla Khoroshavina, the head of the Russian language and linguistics department, and Elena Kiseleva, Daria Romanova, Gulchechek Khusainova, Lira Oztyurk, expressed their congratulations and warm wishes.
The head of the international department, Ekaterina Vracheva also presented the graduates with certificates of successful completion of studies, diplomas and gifts for their active participation in various public, creative, intellectual competitions and festivals.
Student Salcedo Camacho Sebastian Andres (Colombia) made a response in Russian on behalf of all foreign students: “Today I am here to express our deepest gratitude for all these months during which you taught, instructed and advised us, always showing interest to us and our training. You have given us valuable memories that we will cherish all our life. Thank you teachers, thank you, KIU. ”
