KIU organized a culinary workshop on cooking Russian national meal "pelmeni" for international students
Students of the program "Technology and Food Service Management" organized a workshop for international students of Preparatory Faculty. In the frameworks of the workshops students were introduced the meal - its history, ways of keeping and ways of service. For most international students it is the first meeting with pelmeni. Students found it incredibly tasty and interesting. Students shared that they love the Russian language and Russian cuisine. Students of the program "Technology and Organization of Food Service Management" showed students how to cook pelmeni and practiced in the foreign language. Russian students practiced English and international students - Russian.
The workshop took place in the lab of national cuisine named by Y.Akhmetzyanov - the only lab of national cuisine in Russia.
