On February, 4th International youth inclusive games were held in a secondary school №179 with profound studying of certain subjects within the framework of a scientific-practical conference “Successive connection of inclusive education”. Students of IEML and the school, as well as those who have special educational needs, took part in it.
Key idea of the International youth inclusive games is to form trust and mutual respect between disabled people and their healthy peers through carrying out cultural-sports and intellectual games and revealing unlimited opportunities and talents of people with disabilities.

Peysakhovich, head of an educational department of Novo-Savinovskiy and Aviastroitelniy districts of Kazan G. G. Latysheva, head of an autonomous non-profit organization “Belaya trost” (Yekaterinburg) O. B. Kolpashikov gave welcome speeches at the opening of sports competition.
Sports part of the event began with a game of a Kazan wheelchair basketball team “Krilya Barsa” and then several teams tried conclusions. The main purpose was mutual integration. “Integration and interaction are the most important. That is what inclusion really means in a global sense”, - noted vice-rector for continuing education, director of the Institute of distance learning in IEML, professor D. Z. Akhmetova.
After that a tour through the school was conducted. This school was specially built taking into account the peculiarities of disabled children. So far this is the only secondary school in Kazan and in the Republic of Tatarstan that is fully suitable for inclusive education. At the moment 1185 children study at school №179. The next part of the program was master classes “White on white” where one could try to read with hands, “Social art of music” with a special direction of co-authorship and “Use of modern touch devices in the educational activity of educational institutions” where the specialists of the Republican library for the blind told about gadgets and their use for teaching people with disabilities. The games finished with an award of winners and a concert.
