For the purpose of the Agreement on cooperation between KIU and Regional Public Organization “Vietnamese Society of the Republic of Tatarstan “Doanket (Unity)”, the Rector of KIU and the Chairman of the Public Organization Mr. Dam Zan Lam have discussed the plan of the grand opening a thematic classroom “Vietnam” in the University.

KIU specialists with a support of public organization “Vietnamese Society of the Republic of Tatarstan “Doanket” prepared drafts of stands with a short description on Russian and Vietnamese languages. The Chairman of the Public Organization Mr. Dam Zan Lam expressed gratitude to KIU staff for contribution in strengthening of Russian and Vietnamese friendship. “Kazan -, said Mr. Dam Zan Lam, - is not only the capital of Tatarstan that has a strategic meaning in provision of social and economic development of Russia. It is, firstly, multinational and multiconfessional city which has rich 1000 years history. This is the city where Vladimir Lenin has studied, a writer Leo Tolstoy, an opera singer Fiodor Shalyapin, Nikolay Lobachevskiy and many other people who entered the world history lived and worked. We are glad that many students, Vietnamese Diasporas and guests of your University will have an opportunity to get acquainted with Vietnam closer”.
